Teacher Week: Who

I have a hot 40 minutes until I need to go to bed... So, while the hubby watches football, I decided I had a tiny bit of time to link up with Blog Hoppin' tonight for Teacher Week!

Let's begin with the most obvious. Hello, my name is Jessica Hursh! ;) Perfecto!!

FAMILY

If you follow me on instagram, then you are well aware (maybe way too aware) that I just got married! 

My husbands name is Andrew! He works in sales and is a very smooth talker! ;)

This is my dad and I walking down the isle! :)

Here we have my beautiful mother, me, Andrew and his mother Larissa.

I also have a little (big) brother named Hunter. He is the sweetest guy in the world! He just left for college this past weekend...tear!

Don't mind my super tan here... This was at the Miss Ohio Pageant 3 year ago...Yes, I did that... one time and one time only!! You've got to try everything once right?

FRIENDS

This is Mindy... sister from another mister... FOR REALZZZZ!! ha ha! This is one girl that I can rely on for anything I would ever need. She knows how to just brighten my day... even living in Kentucky! I just love her. We met my sophomore year of college, sat in class next to each other and that was that! She and I instantly bonded and formed a forever friendship!

This adorable lady right here was my Matron of Honor in my wedding. This girl is also like a sister. She lives in Colorado with her hubby now! This girl thinks like me, has duh and wHat? moments like me, loves make-up, fashion and just being silly! She is an AWESOME person!

This gorgeous lady has been my friend since, well, birth!! We were literally born in the same room (3 days apart)... My little toosh was leaving as hers was arriving into this world! She and I are those ladies that are just plain goofy together and will be friends until we are old gray and cranky! 

These are close friends Andrew and I made! These people are so sweet and definitely friends we'd love to keep forever!

THINGS I LOVE

So, here are a few things I LOVE! I'm sure you can guess my first one...

YES...OMG... I LOVE TEACHING!

Next, I adore my two fur babies!!

I also guess... I am obsessed with the Bengals... just because the hubby forced me into it! ha ha

Day One of My New 2014

This girl is linking up with Blog Hoppin' for a fun New Year Linky! Let's make it a resolution that I participate in each day?! We will see! Especially because I go back to good ol' school tomorrow!! :) Definitely going to be a fun, but very exhausting day back.

Day one is all about fun and family so here are my little 'things' that I want to do in this 2014 year!

We will begin with the Fam Bam! Like everyone, I just want to SEE them more often! With their schedules and my schedule it is always hard to squeeze that it. The person I would really like to see more and if you've kept up on my blog you know how I feel about my Grandma Jan. :) I want to see her more often along with my glorious Mamma. I literally never have as much fun with anyone else than with them. :) I would like to go on more shopping trips and basically just hang out. You really should secretly follow us around the mall one day. We are loud, obnoxious and kind of dingy at times ha ha. We'd give you one good laugh.

This summer I will officially become Jessica Hursh (Woa--looks weird) and so this Mr. will be my hubby. This year I want to give him a bit more attention and try not to be so 'whiny.' Yes, I'm a whiner sometimes but it's all for good reasons. He makes me stop my blogging and Tpting to like clean and do laundry and stuff. So, I guess I need to be better about that for him and just flat out spend more time with him as in not sitting beside him on my computer as I am doing now but actually sitting beside him and engaging in conversations about what he likes (yes--gain an interest for Football)---AhH! Did I just say that?!--And Red's baseball other than drooling over Joey Votto.

Welp this photo leads in to my next thing --FUN--!! I flat out just want to have more fun.

Here is my list.

1. I'm really shy --Yes, like extremely shy before I get to know people. I want to STOP IT! I want to meet more people and make some more quality friendships.

2. I want to go to a blogger meet-up. !!! Very badly. I have FOMO right now from all the fun I see people having.

Yep, this is so me...ha ha

3. I want to see my friends more! Confession: I'm a huge homebody! So, getting me out of the house and to go somewhere is like pulling teeth. I'd much rather have people come over and chill in my pajamas with some snacks and drinks in hand! But, I must say this past weekend was the BEST! My friends and I went to Wendy's Bridal to get them fitten for their bridesmaids dresses and I had SO MUCH FUN! I want to see all of these ladies more. The said part though---dun, dun, dun... ALL but one live out of state!

I could go on and on abut all of the fun I've had with these ladies but then that would just turn into a novel. So, we will just say these are the BEST friends a girl could ask for. :)

Is this really happening?!!!!

 I have to share some really big news with you!!!!!

It was a huge surprise and it was so unexpected!!!

 

So, here is the story in the short & sweet version!

 

We were 'meeting' friends at a mall called Levis Commons to go to a comedy club (or so I thought). We get there a little early to do some shopping. Once we shopped, we put our stuff into our car and Andrew told me that we were meeting our friends by the water fountain. We are walking up there and he says, "We need a picture." So, he hands his phone to some random lady sitting on a bench with her husband (they were celebrating their 10 year). She takes one picture...

 

 

Then, he looks at it and gives her back his phone and then...

 

 

 

I can't tell you how happy I am!

 

After this we went out to eat and then come to find out our entire family was already at the restaurant waiting for us!! The best day ever!!

Who loves clothes?!!??!!

This is going to a quicky little post! I just have to share this blog with you. It is completely non-teaching related but Oh Meee Oh Myy... it is a great read and I know a lot of us love the cute clothes with bright colors and beautiful patterns... well, this blog includes everything we love! (minus the teaching part).

It is called... Living in Yellow.

 

 

She is doing something that just knocks my socks off (yep blogger talk is rubbing off on me)... she is connected with a boutique called, "Miss Chic" and basically what she is doing is choosing one piece of attire and one accessory for us (the public/readers) to purchase for $42.00. The catch for getting the great deal is that we don't know what she is picking out for us! We won't know until it shows up at our door step! I thought it sounded weird too... like your probably thinking right now. But, look at her style and you will have the utmost confidence that she will have  AWESOME attire delivered to your home!

A day in the life of ME! -- Plus Giveaway!!

I am linking up with Jessica over at Second Grade Nest for her "day in the life of a teacher" linky!  Right now, there is obviously not much teaching going on so this will definitely be a day in the life of a teacher on summer vacation!! :)... Like it is for many of you!

 

Like always, I begin my day with a cup (or 2) of coffee! I jump right on my computer & check my store and blog! Then, I continued to work on Halloween themed literacy and math stations! I tell you what I am getting ahead this year!! During all of this my precious little dog and I play fetch while the other one cuddles up next to me!

 

 

Later in the day my boyfriend pealed me off of my computer and motivated me to go to the gym with him! I have really gotten out of the routine!! Time to get back at it!

Before I work out I always take 3 catalyst and drink a spark! The catalyst basically helps build the muscle and melt fat! <3 it! The other name for it is 'belly and butt be gone."

I put on my perty new shoes and then off to the gym we go! It was chest and shoulders day!!

 

After the workout I have my vanilla protein shake!

 

Then I have a small lunch with my fruit shake and a pb & J! Get dressed, take a cute picture with my boy and off to the mall we go! I found a great deal on a new swim suit! All of my swim suits no longer fit (in a good way)!! :)

 

After we hit the mall we went to PF changes & got chocolate cake to go... came home watched a movie and ate my yummy piece of chocolate cake!!

 

There is the day in the life of me! Not too much going on but it sure was a great day!! :)
